FAQ

What facial treatment is best for acne-prone skin?

For acne-prone skin, we recommend our Advanced Acne Facial, which is specifically designed to target breakouts, reduce inflammation, and promote clearer, healthier skin. This facial includes deep pore cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extractions, and targeted treatment masks to address acne concerns effectively. You can upgrade to a stronger acne facial depending on your needs. We offer acne facials for grades 1-5 (from a few breakouts to deep cystic acne).

How can facials help with anti-aging concerns?

Our Anti-Aging Facials are formulated to combat the signs of aging, such as dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity. These facials typically incorporate potent anti-aging ingredients, advanced techniques like micro-needling or microchanneling, clinical strength acids, MD strength Red Light Therapy and specialized massage techniques to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and restore youthful radiance.

Are chemical peels suitable for all skin types?

While chemical peels can be highly effective for various skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and dullness, they may not be suitable for all skin types. Our experienced estheticians will assess your skin type and concerns during a consultation to determine the most appropriate peel strength and formulation for your individual needs, ensuring optimal results with minimal risk of irritation or adverse reactions. You will also receive instruction for how to care for your skin after a peel. We have both organic. & chemical peels.

How often should I schedule facial treatments for best results?

The frequency of facial treatments depends on your skin type, concerns, and treatment goals. For most clients, we recommend scheduling facials every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain skin health and address specific concerns effectively. However, our estheticians will personalize a treatment plan based on your unique needs to ensure the best possible results.

Do I need to shave before getting a facial if I have facial hair?

No, you do not need to shave before your facial if you prefer to keep your facial hair. Our Men’s Power Treatment facial is fully customized. We understand that many men prefer to maintain their facial hair. In such cases, we provide specialized care for facial hair during the facial treatment. We use a cooling probiotic cleanser to cleanse the beard or facial hair, ensuring it remains clean and refreshed. Additionally, we apply a non-greasy, organic beard oil to condition and nourish the facial hair, leaving it soft and manageable.

If you would like the skin beneath your facial hair to be treated during the facial, we recommend either shaving before your appointment or use an electric shaver/clippers to trim the hair down short. This ensures that we can effectively treat the skin and provide you with the best possible results. Rest assured, our team will tailor the facial treatment to accommodate your preferences and ensure a comfortable and personalized experience. Please feel free to communicate any specific concerns or requests with your esthetician before your facial begins.

Can facials help improve uneven skin tone and texture?

Yes, facials can be highly beneficial for improving uneven skin tone and texture. Our customized facials often include exfoliation techniques, such as microdermabrasion, resurfacing enzymes, or gentle chemical peels, to remove dead skin cells, reduce hyperpigmentation, and reveal smoother, more even-toned skin. Additionally, targeted treatments and specialized skincare products can further enhance skin texture and clarity over time.
